Nylon has good impact resistance at room temperature, but the impact resistance at low temperature is not good enough. Therefore, the toughening modification of nylon is mainly to improve the impact resistance at low temperatures. Anmei is running of two categories, one is ordinary toughened nylon and the other is super tough nylon.
Super tough nylon is a type of nylon with strong impact resistance. Its impact resistance is ten times higher than the ordinary nylon in a dry or low-temperature state, while still retaining the characteristics of nylon.
With the same glass fiber content, from the perspective of modified production, the factors affecting the nylon PA6 tensile strength are related to the modified production process of glass fiber reinforced nylon. The better the production process, the better the tensile strength.
By adding different toughener polymers to PA6, the flexibility, low temperature resistance and impact resistance of the composite material can be increased. The modified toughened nylon is resistant to radiation, ultraviolet rays, and has excellent dimensional stability and excellent mechanical strength. Most of these products are special materials for power tools.
